Point of Grace has had a vision since they began singing together. They wanted to have a ministry for younger girls. Finally, after 24 number one songs and numerous releases, they began their ministry with their Girls of Grace CD.

Like the two CDs described below, this CD has a number of impressive Christian Contemporary singers such as Jaci Velasquez, Rachael Lampa, Out of Eden, Nicole Nordeman, Jill Phillips, Joy Williams, and others including Point of Grace, themselves, accompanied by a children's choir, possibly all girls.

It is another wonderful CD full of children's voices. But, of course, this one is by girls for girls especially christian girls.

Soon after they released this album, they began a tour, not just for singing, but mostly a tour of conferences for teenage girls. They wanted to assist in their spiritual and emotional well-being by answering their questions about how to plan for what is to come.

The quality of this CD is not quite as good as their other CDs or the below CDs. But, they embarked on a beautiful concept and a very well-respected ministry. For this reason, I would highly recommend it , especially for teenagers!

Featuring The Sandtown Children's Choir of Baltimore, Maryland. Produced by Toby McKeehan (DC Talk) and Joey Elwood (Executive Producers) and Steven V. Taylor, Alvin Richardson, and Todd Collins (Producers)

Numerous well-known Christian Contemporary singers make their appearance including Toby Mac, Lisa Kinney of Out of Eden, The Katinas, Michael W. Smith, and Israel.

Sandtown was once a popular African American cultural district of Baltimore, Maryland back in the 50's and 60's where numerous famous singers performed in the many theatres in the area. As you may imagine the area soon became a slum as so many neighborhoods do in the inner cities of the United States. Now, however, Sandtown has been revitalized. This children's choir has been one of the living outcomes of the rebirth of a community that has been hard at work renovating their community since 1986.

This CD is similar to "Songs from the Loft" in that there is a Children's choir singing the refrains and backgroud and sometimes foreground vocals and is accompanied by the above mentioned musicians.
Way, way awesome.

Song just heard: "Where Do I Go"

Why I like this CD: because I love children and the CD has a children's choir singing all of the refrains and the background vocals

amazon.com doesn't have it (could be out of print), but I just got a copy from http://www.gemm.com/!
Anyway, this CD has at least two songs that Amy Grant accompanies and even more that she wrote. Check for Amy Grant music available at amazon.com!
